SIFE is a global non-profit organization active in more than 40 states. SIFE is funded by financial contributions from foundations, corporations, entrepreneurs, government agencies and people. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. Faculty advisers lead these teams and they may be challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach the five educational issues of SIFE: entrepreneurship, market economics, success skills, financial literacy, and business ethics.

SIFE believes that we may make a difference in the lives of our nation, our community, and our world. For this reason we follow the International SIFE Mission Statement as well as our own “team-particular” mission statement:

International SIFE Mission Statement:

“To provide college students the greatest chance to make a difference and to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through learning, practicing, and teaching the principles of free enterprise.”

SIFE Mission Statement:

“College will work together with our partners in operation, education, and government to help the citizens in our community achieve economic, business, and computer literacy, so that each has the opportunity to live a joyful and productive life.”
