The CSIRO ‘Our Future World' Seminar will be conducted on Thursday 8 July 2010. This seminar is for selected SIFE students and a group from the CSIRO leadership team.  It follows from a CSIRO global foresight project and forms part of a broad consultation with selected stakeholder groups in the Australian community.

Entries are now open for nominations by SIFE teams in the following categories: Most Supportive Vice-Chancellor, Most Supportive Administrator/Dean, Most Supportive Business Advisory Board Member, Most Outstanding Faculty Advisor and Most Outstanding Student.

The Top to Future Top Seminar will be conducted on Saturday 10^th July 2010 in Melbourne.  The seminar is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a lively forum with CEOs/MDs from some of Australia's leading corporations.

SIFE Australia is very pleased to announce that Leonie Hunt has commenced employment to improve the management of the relationships that we have with our corporate partners and other stakeholders who assist with funding the operation of the Students in Free Enterprise program in Australia.

The 10th of February 2010 marks the 10^th anniversary of the incorporation of SIFE Australia Ltd.

As at 31 January 2010, 31 Australian SIFE teams had responded to the Campbell's Let's Can Hunger Challenge and 10 had completed the formal registration requirements. 

Krishna Khetia, President of SIFE Monash South Africa team, was killed in a car accident on the 2^nd January 2010. 

On the 6th October 2009, more than 80 of the best SIFE students from around 42 countries gathered together in Berlin to participate in the inaugural "SIFE Top to Future Top Forum".

When registration for the 2009 SIFE Australia National Conference & Championships opens on 1 May, teams will have their first experience of a new and improved method for supporting participation in the event.

The University of South Australia, in conjunction with SIFE Australia and Universities Australia, will soon be announcing detailed arrangements for eligible Australian universities to receive a share of the three-year DASA grant.

Through the continuing leadership of and partnership with the University of South Australia, the SIFE program in Australia is poised to enter a new era of growth and success over the next three years, as universities across the sector share in the $1.922 million grant provided by the Federal Government under the Diversity and Structural Adjustment Fund through to 2011.

To mark the introduction of the new SIFE Judging Criterion # 5 'Make environmentally sustainable personal and business decisions', SIFE Australia and the CSIRO are proud to announce the CSIRO Environmental Sustainability Grants and special Competition.

SIFE Singapore is collaborating with Temasek Polytechnic (TP), a national tertiary institution in Singapore, to offer a cultural exchange programme for students.  The 2-day program titled "? Xchange" will be held on 4 and 5 October 2008.

SIFE World Headquaters is adding a new criterion on environmental sustainability in the 2008-2009 SIFE year (i/e/ effective at the 2009 SIFE competitions).

The winners of the 2008 SIFE Australia National Championships have been decided.

SIFE Australia is pleased to announce that the following university SIFE teams have been short-listed by an independent panel of judges to participate in the Final Round of the Individual Topic Competition (ITC), to be held between 09:00 and 12:00 on Saturday 12 July.
